12/01/2023: Online - The Do’s and Don’ts of Counseling with Neurodivergent Clients: A trauma informed somatic approach to Neurodivergence 10am-3:00pm MT/12pm-5:00pm ET
Last Training of 2023, new extended time! We will gather for a 5 hour learning experience, which includes a 1 hour break for rest, movement, and/or integration. We will cover an overview of how to provide effective, Neurodivergent affirming therapy that works for your Neurodivergent clients. We will focus on two Neurotypes: Autism and ADH. Limited to 12 people to support a small group learning environment. A detailed handout will be provided in advance to help you follow along, and Nyck will teach with a power point (well, Canva to be precise, it’s a more beautiful software :-). There will be a lot of information sharing, along with experiential components, questions, and group collaboration. This will all be delivered in a Neurodivergent affirming way and space, allowing you to experience both a felt-sense/lived-experience as well as increase cognitive knowledge. Cancellation policy: We understand that despite our best intentions, sometimes changes happen unexpectedly and we need to cancel. For a full refund, notify us within 2 weeks of your training date. For cancellations within 7-13 days of the training date, we will provide a partial refund of 50%. Less than 7 days notice will result in no refund. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case by case basis, please notify us as soon as you are able to.
